The Aldersgate Talks is the main ministry of St Botolph-without-Aldersgate, a Church of England Guild Church. Being a Guild Church means that we don’t have a parish or Sunday services; instead our ministry serves the midweek working population in our area of the City of London.
Christian Heritage London have recently opened an exhibition and a base for their work in London at St Botolph’s, and run tours in this area of the City. They open the building to the public on Mondays and from Wednesdays to Fridays every week. See their website for more details.
Our building also is used by London City Presbyterian Church on Sundays.
Our ministry depends on the generous financial support of members of our Tuesday lunchtime congregation. For more information and how to give, please download our giving leaflet.
The Aldersgate Talks helped start The Moorgate Talks in 2010, and there remain strong links between the two ministries. We are also in partnership with other similar ministries across central London. To find the closest lunchtime talks to your office, visit www.gospelatwork.org.uk.
We have a partnership with Grace City Church in Tokyo, which has recently started lunchtime talks to reach Japanese city workers. Watch a presentation by Tim Keller here or read about our 2015 appeal here.
All our records from our days as a parish church are now at the London Metropolitan Archives. Please address all enquiries to the Archives.
